  Personally our religious preferences should change with changing World/Environment. We should stop polluting our beaches ( beaches are already having lot of trouble due to plastics) and go for reusable Ganesh idols made of brass/wood. Or just go ahead and use pure clay (no wax added) and on the day of Visarjan immerse in a bucket of water and add that clayey water to your garden/potted plants that would be ecofrinedly ! Think over it, we need to save oceans for our kids and their future.

Will milk bags recyling come true!

 

 

 Wish they do something about it. Switching to glass bottles is also a good idea .

On an average a house hold of 4 produces 2 milk bags/day which makes 730 milk bags/year. oh my god ! the numbers are scary to imagine in a community/city/state !

Teepee tent_DIY

Our kids wanted a tent, however we did not want to buy one.
Thought can look at resources available on web and make a teepee tent !

Materials:

1. 4 dowels (had saved the pruned tree dowels found in our community, used it upcycle :-)
2. An old used curtain
3. Ropes to tie the dowels together, had secured the tent to window aisle to prevent slipping over. Our floor is slippery if using it on a wood/carpet floor this can be skipped.......

A girl bike upcyle!

We took the above pldege in 2019, and did this project.

Materials needed:

A girls bike

2 rolls of Washi tape 

Sand paper ( to sand the frame)

Red paint (choose this color, its the closest color to pink)

Seat and handle bar palm gripers are in very good condition so did not change them ( reuse, reduce !)

The rest is self explanatory please see the picture 

 

Tada ! My kiddo enjoys driving this......
